The club was abuzz with activity this week.

We finished our Trash to Treasure initiative and celebrated it with an information day in Bray Recycling Centre.

It was a great day as both the U-12 and U-14 sides came along and were given a grand tour of the centre. We would like to thank Mary O’Brien and Mildred Fox for providing refreshments on the day.

We would also like to thank Mark Quinn for the use of his truck to collect scrap and lest we forget, thanks to Shane Vickers, Simon Doyle, David ‘Chucky’ Brady and Phily Berns for all their help.

On Saturday morning 12 club members could be found in the Glencormac Inn where they were being trained how to operate a defibrillator. A defibrillator will now be available in the clubhouse in case of an emergency.

The club will be running a bus to Carlow on Sunday, May 27th for Wicklow’s Leinster clash with Meath. Depending on numbers, terrace tickets will be available at €5 each. Please contact Peadar Smyth (0872841155) or Jason Doyle (0877906486) if you are interested. The bus will depart the village at 11.30am.

The club will also be running a pub quiz in the Glencormac Inn on Monday, May 28 th at 8.30pm. A table of 4 will cost €20. Any spot prizes would be greatly appreciated.
