Annual Fun Day

Ashford GAA Club had to cancel their Annual Fun Day last Saturday 16th June in the GAA Grounds due to bad weather conditions, the event will now take place at the same venue on Saturday 21st July.

Kellogg’s GAA Cul Camp

Ashford GAA Club will host the Kellogg’s Cul Camp from the 2 – 6th July in the Ashford GAA Grounds. Register for Kellogg’s GAA Cul Camp and become part of something special. Go to www.gaa.ie/kelloggsculcamps

Registration Fee is 1st Child €55, 2nd Child €45, 3/4/5 children from the same family €40 each. When you register you will receive the new Kellogg’s Cul Camp Kit including Jersey, Shorts, Socks and Kit Bag. The Camp runs daily from 10am – 2.30pm Monday to Friday and is open to Boys & Girls from 1st to 6th Class. Children will be provided with Coaching Skills, Fun Games and Go Games Blitzes.

Application Forms are available in Primary Schools & Clubs or register on line. Application Forms should be posted to Wicklow GAA Office, Aras Cill Mhantain, Pearse’s Park, Vale Road, Arklow, Co. Wicklow.

Save €5.00 per child when you register on line. See promotional packs of Kellogg’s Cornflakes and Rice Krispies for details. Please note the €5.00 discount from promotional packs of Kellogg’s applies to online registration only.

Saturday 23rd June: Ashford GAA Coaching Camp, Under 6, 8, 10. Ashford, 11:00am.

Friday 29th June: Go Games, Ashford, Under 8 & 10, 6:45pm.

Monday 2 – 6th July: Kellogg’s Cul Camps.

Saturday 21st July: Ashford GAA Club Fun Day.

Wicklow GAA Co Development Draw

The 2nd draw took place last week and Ned Byrne from the Baltinglass Club won first prize of €10,000. Of the 20 prizes, Baltinglass won 6 in total, An Tochar 3, Carnew Emmets 2, Coolkenno 2, Kilmacanogue 1, Blessington 1, Rathnew 1, Kilcoole 1, Dunlavin 1, Avondale 1, Laragh 1. The third and final draw will take place on Friday 6th July for another 20 prizes with the top prize of €10,000. Ashford GAA Club sold 100 tickets for this draw which was a fair achievement in itself given the economic climate that we live in. Let’s hope that we will be successful on the 6th July.

There was no winner of this week’s Ashford and Glenealy GAA Clubs Lotto Jackpot worth €12,800 (11/06/2012). However 3 people matched 3 numbers and shared €300. Joe Driver (A.
