Well done to our Senior team who beat Newtown in the Champ 4-8 to 1-9 a great performance by the lads and great to get back to winning ways. Next Sat 11th is another big game the last in our group against Kiltegan in Aughrim at 6pm, we ask you all to make a big effort to travel and support the lads, ” Your Voice is Required in Aughrim “. hard luck to our ladies beaten by Kilbride in the Champ but with injuries & hols we were up against it before the game started, but we have a lot of young girls coming through so the future is very bright. Birthday wishes to Mike Broderick,Jordan Nolan,Dean Mulvey, Emma Sargent Kelly, Killian Carolan & Kirstie Geraghty. Our Junior C team will play Kilcoole in their champ on Thursday 16th in Roundwood. Our Junior A team will play Newcastle in their last group game which should be in a couple of weeks. Our Lotto was not won and the next draw is Tuesday 14th August with Jackpot at €7600, make sure to return your tickets to Michael or Chris “If your not in Don’t expect to win”.There will be a new addition to our grounds very shortly, Yes a new electronic score board is on it’s way, well done to all involved.Reminder that Club Physio is in the pitch every Wednesday night 8 to 9pm with charge of €5 per player. Blessington Juvenile Notes

Our Juvenile teams are preparing well for their up coming Championships. Wed 8th our U14 (1st team) play AGB away at 7.15pm while our U14 (2nd Team) play AGB at home at 7.15pm best of luck to all the players & management. Our U16 & Minor will commence the following week. Our U12 played An Tochar in a challenge but lost slightly but with players on hols it was great to get a game in, well done to all. Academy continues every sat 10 to 11am and all are very welcome to attend. On Wednesday 22nd August the Leinster GAA Roadshow will be in Blessington GAA Grounds from 10.30am to 2pm where all teams in Hurling & football will have a specific slot more details to follow. Wicklow U16 were beaten by Laois at the weekend and we were represented by Mikey O Connor,Jordan Nolan & Jack Mills.
