Blessington Club Notes

Our U12′s had a great win on Mon 10th againat St Nicholas. Blessington had a great start and were up 9pts at half time. But it was not over, St Nicholas put up a huge fight and came back to a within a point of Blesso. Shauna Byrne,Jordan McGarr,Stephen Carroll, & midfielders Adam Boland and Jack Allen dug deep. Final score Blessoington 5-5 to St Nicholas 3-6. Goals from Stephen Carroll, Ronan O Malley (2), Joe Broderick & Adam Boland.Ladies had a great win over AGB away on Sunday last 2-11 to 2-5. Scorers were Niamh Carroll 2-4, Jessica Carroll 0-4, and a point each from Shauna Richardson, Maura Reid and Jacqueline Finnegan, well done girls. Our U12 played Baltinglass on Thurs last althought beaten ,the girls put in some great performances and a win will be on the cards very soon if we keep improving. We wish Baltinglass Girls the very best in Feile up in Derry. Our U10 played Moorefield in a challenge on Sat and I believe they got a win.Our Junior A also had a challenge against Naas on Thurs night and also came out as winners. Our Junior C were beaten by Kiltegan on Thurs last away, but im sure they will be back to winning ways very soon. Well done to Eimhin Dalby C/O Pat Molloy who matched 3 numbers in our lotto last week and recieved €300, no jackpot winner, next draw 24th May in The West Wicklow jackpot at €1800.00. Great prizes each month, at the end of the draw Blessington GAA will have a seperate draw for 20 prizes of €100.
