Wicklow take on Waterford in their second game of the National League under the stewardship of Harry Murphy. The Garden County will be in confident mood after a big win over Kilkenny in the opening round and a challenge match victory over Westmeath last weekend.

Waterford lost their opening clash with Clare in a game where they finished with just 12 men. The Déise followed up their disappointing start with a big win over the struggling Kilkenny.

Wicklow went to Fraher Field with promotion in their sights two years ago and were out muscled and out played as Waterford ran out nine point winners and got themselves promoted. Here’s hoping that Wicklow have learned the lessons from that day and produce the goods in Aughrim this afternoon.

The weather forecast is good for Aughrim today so why not throw the kids in the car and get down to the County grounds and cheer on the team.

If you can’t we will have LIVE UPDATES HERE FROM 2.30.

Aughrim weather watch:

12:00–18:00 7° – No rain & a gentle breeze, 6 m/s from northwest
