Blessington Juvenile Club Notes

Our U12 football teams had a great win over Eire Og Greystones last Mon evening at home. They will play AGB away on Monday 23 Apr. Our U14 A team lost by 3 points to AGB away last Wed. The home match Baile Coimin (U14C) V AGB 2 was cancelled. The Baile Coimin team will play a previously cancelled game away to Stratford on Wed 25 Apr. U12 Western Gaels lost their challange match last Tues against Eire Og of Kildare by one point. 22 Hurlers from Western Gaels turned up for match. On a very wet evening Gaels were up 4 points at half time. Best for Gaels from Blessington were L.Broderick , K.Quinn , S.O’Rourke , D.Williamson , E.Higgins and C.Murphy. Next match vs Naas B in Hollywood Tues 24th 7.00 throw in. U12 mini hurling league starts on Monday 23 Apr.  U12 hurling training in Holywood on Tues 1 May. Underage hurling continues for U10 down every Thursday 6 to 7 pm. Saturday morning training 9.30am to 10am sharp will continue on days there is no Football Go Games. 51 children attended hurling training at pitch last Thursday and we really need help from parents in setting up half an hour before hand and tidying away after. A Football and Hurling Cul Camp will be held from 9-13 July (F) and 23-27 July (H) in Blessington GAA. Kelloggs are the new sponsors this year and there will be €5 vouchers printed on all Kelloggs pack which can be used towards the cost of the Cul Camp.
