Wicklow 2-9 Longford 1-12
Wicklow footballers watched on as the Hurlers won their top of the table clash against Derry but they were unable to complete the double after a dramatic draw with Longford. A cheap free against Chester Kelly matched Leighton Glynn’s late point to ensure both teams share the spoils.

NFL Preview: Leitrim v Wicklow
The race is well and truly on and I am not talking about the race to the polls on the 25th February here I am of course referring to the race to get out of Division 4. Wicklow started with a point last weekend against neighbours Carlow and Leitrim came from behind in injury time to punish Clare for their indiscipline (2 players sent off) to take the points in Carrick on Shannon by the smallest margin. As a week of mourning draws to a close its time to look back at last Sundays devastating defeat which left players and fans fallen among the rubble scattered around O’Connor park as the final whistle confirmed that once again we had fallen yards from the finish line.
