Wicklow hurlers finished their National League campaign with another draw after a brave effort against Carlow almost seen them pick up their first win in Division 2A.
Carlow who will contest the league final struck for the last score of a close contest to level the game at 1-11 a piece. The visitors struggled from the off and could not contain Andy O’Brien who was scorer in chief from frees and open play. With time ticking down it appeared Casey O’Briens men had done enough but a late late score meant the spoils were shared and Wicklow will now meet Down in a relegation play off.
